This Working Group prioritizes listening to the experiences and perspectives of community members affected by food access challenges, learning from and engaging with residents. This team draws insights from a range of stakeholders, with a focus on identifying critical connection points, potential blockages, and bridges within the system.
Advocacy &
Empowerment
This Working Group works to create systemic change across all levels of government, with a focus on amplifying the voices of individuals who have experienced nutrition insecurity.
Agriculture &
Food Systems
This Working Group provides access to knowledge about local food systems and aids in acquiring agricultural spaces in Schenectady County. By welcoming individuals from all backgrounds and levels of knowledge to join, everyone has the opportunity to contribute and learn regardless of their starting point.
